Exhale is a work that explores themes of territory, vulnerability and freedom through visual and sonic mediums. The artists shoshanah mazeltov, Stephanie Henry, and Kathryn Patricia Cobbler documented their environments using the video and sound to inspire a layered improvisational work that spans over three movements. Each movement centers around a video shot on the land each artist resides upon. This three-part composition was crafted in multiple cities and time zones, crossing different space and time continuums. Exhale represents the merging of three lands, sound worlds and artistic voices. The Comet ensemble invites listeners to 'breathe in' this work as they reflect on the land they reside and their relationship with it.
