This composition is based around the idea of the plastiglomerate, which is a stone containing a mixture of sediment and molten plastic. It is a permanent or semi-permanent record of the Anthropocene, and may survive as future fossils. With this project we explore sound as sediment, musical elements intertwining and/or becoming permanently involved with one another, and what is "natural" or "artificial" combining to become one singular whole.
